Join your neighbors in sewing, and gain and share skills while mending and socializing. Many libraries have sewing machines and offer regular programs in mending, fabric, and textile repair. They might also be able to help with keeping your own sewing machine in working order.

Note that library programs are open to everyone; you don’t have to be a resident of that city to participate. Attend any or all.
